The story of a converted silo, told by its architect Harry Gugger, is about the rebirth of a former grain silo into a mixed-use building in the city of Basel. Its past and the new spatial configuration, function and materiality challenge our notion of industrial construction and reveal its potential to be inhabited in a contemporary context.
