Gleispool Dreispitz

Project exhibition of the research and transformation project Gleispool

The existing structures, ramps, turning circles, railway tracks and safety facilities characterise the Dreispitz and will play an important role in the sustainable development of the area. The Gleispool is therefore a living experiment that seeks answers to fundamental questions about the transformation of industrial sites. From soil conditions and energy production to the recycling and re-use of existing structures, various experiments are being carried out here that are relevant not only for the Dreispitz, but also for other transformation areas. At the same time, the Gleispool with it's first 100-metre swim track in Switzerland is intended to enrich life and diversity on the Dreispitz site and initiate further transformations.

The event is organised in cooperation with the Christoph Merian Foundation.
