In the second edition of Architecture Week Basel, we are once again looking at the impact of the built environment on the climate. This time we are posing the question of transformation: how can we put existing buildings and structures to a new use? Can we adapt the existing with a minimum of effort and energy and reuse buildings that have lost their original function in a contemporary way?
After a brief introduction, the guests will discuss the issue of transformation. The Open Call RESERVOIR with 161 submissions and the ARCH+ feature form the starting point for the panel.
