Wolfgang Zeh

Wolfgang Zeh

After training as a carpenter in Bonn, Wolfgang Zeh studied architecture at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. He has lived and worked as a freelance architect in Cologne since 2008. His office’s projects have been honoured several times, including with the Wüstenrot Foundation Design Award, the Beton Architecture Award, the Cologne Architecture Award, the BDA Awards Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the German Architecture Award. In addition to his practical work as an architect, he has taught in various fields at various universities since 2012 – as a research assistant at the Chair of Design and Urban Planning at the Bauhaus University Weimar, at the Chair of Building Theory and Fundamentals of Design at RWTH Aachen University and as Professor i.V. for Building Construction at the Münster School of Architecture. Since 2024, he has been Professor of Building Construction and Resource-Friendly Design at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf
