She has also shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences. Before becoming self-employed, she gained 10 years of experience in the Department of Construction and Transport, working on area developments of cantonal significance. Nicole Wirz is committed to ensuring that projects contribute to sustainable development.
She is the founder and president of the FSU Northwest Switzerland Section (the Association of Swiss Spatial Planners). From the beginning, she has been actively involved in the establishment of the Construction and Planning Table of the Basel Region and in initiating the Road Map for Sustainability in the construction industry.
