Lukas Ryffel studied biology and architecture at ETH Zurich and then worked as a research assistant at the chairs of Jan De Vylder and Günther Vogt. In 2021, he founded the architecture firm 8000.agency together with Jakob Junghanss and Oliver Burch. He is also a founding member of the ZAS* association. From summer 2024, he will be teaching with 8000.agency as a guest lecturer at the Architektur Werkstatt St. Gallen at the University of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland. He was a member of the Open Call jury.
