Yufei He (*1993, MSc ETH Arch) studied architecture in Vienna and Zurich. Since 2020, he has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Building Technology and Construction at ETH Zurich. His master’s thesis was awarded the LaFargeHolcim Next Generation Prize. In 2020, together with James Horkulak, he received the Ernst Schindler Foundation travel grant. This resulted in the photographic project ‘Where river moves mountain’, which was later nominated for the vfg Young Talent Award 2022.
James Horkulak (*1991, MSc ETH Arch) studied architecture in Berlin and Zurich. His master’s thesis was awarded the Theo Hotz Prize (Zurich), the Fritz Schumacher Prize (Hamburg) and was nominated for the Young Talent Architecture Award 2020 of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe. During his studies, he assisted the ceramic artist Andreas Tesch in Berlin.
Pan Hu (*1995, MSc ETH Arch) studied architecture in Karlsruhe and Zurich. Since 2022 he has worked at Günther Vogt’s Case Studio and as a research assistant at Arno Brandlhuber’s chair at ETH Zurich. In recent years, he has worked at Herzog & de Meuron in Basel and at FAR in Berlin. As a member of the German Pavilion’s ‘Team 2038’, he contributed to the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale in 2021 and was involved in related research projects such as Arch+ 236: Posthuman Architecture (2019) and New Modernity with Future Collaborative.
